IEC 60529 Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP Code) clause 14.2.5 Test for second characteristic numeral 5 with the 6,3 mm nozzle and clause 14.2.6 Test for second characteristic numeral 6 with the 1 2,5 mm nozzle and figure 6, IEC 60598-1 clause 9.2.6 and 9.2.7.

Feature:

The handle and nozzle are made of stainless steel, good anti-rust performance.

The nozzle can be replaced to test for IPX5 or IPX6.

Can match the complete set of waterproof system.

Test conditions:

internal diameter of the nozzle: 6.3 mm(IPX5) and 12.5mm(IPX6);

– delivery rate: 12.5 l/min ± 5 % (IPX5) and 100 l/min ± 5 % (IPX6);

– water pressure: to be adjusted to achieve the specified delivery rate;

– core of the substantial stream: circle of approximately 40 mm(IPX5) and 120mm(IPX6) diameter at 2.5 m distance from nozzle;

– test duration per square metre of enclosure surface area likely to be sprayed: 1 min;

– minimum test duration: 3 min;

– distance from nozzle to enclosure surface: between 2,5 m and 3 m.
