Sealed Multistation Helium Mass Spectrometry Leak Detector
Product Introduction with Leak Testing Equipment:
The multi-station helium mass spectrometer leak detector is a specialized instrument used to detect minute leaks in sealed bodies. It utilizes helium as a tracer gas and employs mass spectrometry analysis to achieve highly sensitive, rapid, and accurate leak detection. This instrument supports simultaneous or sequential operation of multiple stations, improving detection efficiency and widely used in power electronics, automotive manufacturing, air-conditioning and refrigeration industries, to ensure product quality and safety.
Installation Requirements with Leak Testing Equipment:
(1) Main Power Supply
Electrical Parameters: Three-phase 5-wire 380VAC, power rating of 15KW.
Switch: One air switch, with a clearance height of ≥1.5M and a distance to the equipment's mainframe placement location of ≤2M.
(2) Gas Source
① Helium: At least 1 bottle of bottled helium (40 liters, 12MPa) with a 0.6MPa pressure reducing valve.
② High-purity Nitrogen: Bottled high-purity nitrogen (≥99.999%) with a 0.2MPa pressure reducing valve.
③ Compressed Air: Clean compressed air with a pressure of ≥0.55MPa, equipped with a 1/2″ ball valve.
The distance between the gas source interfaces and the equipment's placement location should be ≤1M.
(3) Others
① Prepare an outdoor exhaust pipe with a diameter of ≥3/4″, and the distance between the interface and the equipment's placement location should be ≤1M.
Detection Process:
Installation of Workpiece: The operator inserts the workpiece into the fixture hole, initiates the process, and the vacuum chamber closes, commencing the inspection.
Macro Leak Detection: The vacuum pump evacuates the workpiece. If the vacuum level reaches the standard, the process continues; otherwise, a macro leak is indicated and the process ends.
Vacuum Chamber Evacuation: Initial and fine vacuum evacuation are performed to ensure the vacuum level inside the chamber reaches the set value.
Background Suppression: The leak detector measures the background signal inside the chamber and performs suppression processing.
Helium Charging of Workpiece: Helium is charged into the workpiece until the set pressure is reached.
Micro Leak Detection: During the leak detection period, if the leak detector detects helium signals exceeding the standard, it indicates a micro leak; otherwise, the workpiece is deemed qualified.
Recovery and Refill: The workpiece is purged of helium, the vacuum chamber is filled with nitrogen, and the helium in the fine evacuation pipeline is purged.
Removal of Workpiece: The vacuum chamber opens, and the operator removes the workpiece.
