2 Chambers Helium Leak Testing Equipment For Car Engine Inverter Cover
This system adopted Vacuum chamber method and carries out operations from vacuuming to helium charging, inspection, and helium recycling, each on a unit basis. This system is easy to be combined into an existing production line, which makes process management easy.

Working process:
Work piece Loaded And Vacuum chamber closed |
The operator puts the work piece in the fixture of vacuum chamber, press the start button. Automatically close the door of vacuum chamber, and the test cycle starts. Note: A grating protector is installed on both sides of the vacuum chamber. When closing the vacuum chamber door, ensure that there are no objects in the joint area that interfere with the movement of the vacuum chamber. |
Evacuate And Gross Leak Test |
After the chamber is closed, the vacuum valve is automatically opened, the chamber & test piece shall be evacuated by the pump group till to a vacuum of set point; The vacuum sensors monitor the vacuum value in the chamber & test piece individually; When the vacuum value in the chamber reaches the settings, stop the evacuation of test piece, the chamber is continued to be evacuated till to the settings; During the chamber evacuation, the test piece is testing by the pressure decay method to find the gross leak; If the test piece has gross leak, the automatic test process is aborted, the signal of gross leak shall be given out. If the test piece has no gross leak, the leak test process shall be continued. |
Helium filling and Fine Leak Test |
The chamber & test piece shall be evacuated by the pump group till to a vacuum of set point; When the vacuum value inside the chamber and the test piece reaches the preset vacuum pressure individually; The leak detector will start to test the helium value of chamber before helium charging, and suppress this background value to zero; Helium is charged to the test piece to a preset value; If the helium signal in the chamber than the pass/fail set point is induced by the leak detector, it shows no fine leak, a green lamp is lighting. |
Recovery Helium | After the fine leak testing procedure, helium will be recovered to a low pressure store through automatic pressure balance. When it reaches a pressure of 1atm, a vacuum pump will recover the residual helium from the test piece to a set point pressure. |
Vent Chamber | After the leak testing procedure, air is charged to the chamber to a pressure of 1atm. |
Unload the test piece |
If the test piece is evaluated as NOK, the related alarm message will be given out on the operation board and the screen, the operator must push the Confirm button on the operation board to acknowledge the test results, otherwise the chamber door can not be opened. When the Confirm button is pushed, the chamber door can be automatically opened, the operator loosed the coupler, unload the workpiece. If the test piece is evaluated as OK, the related OK message will be given out on the operation board and the screen, the chamber door can be automatically opened; the operator loosed the coupler, unload the workpiece. |
